Why CEA Homeless Ministries?
Addiction Doesn't Discriminate
Addiction is often misunderstood. It is easy to think of it as something distant—something that happens “out there.” The truth is, addiction touches every walk of life, reaching into families, homes, and the lives of people who are deeply loved.
From Relief to Restoration
What began as blessing bags has grown into something more intentional. CEA Homeless Ministries is now focused on providing safe housing with compassion for individuals struggling with addiction and homelessness.
Building Something That Lasts
This mission is not meant to be built alone. Through community partnerships, support, and a shared vision, we are working to create housing solutions that restore dignity and provide stability.

Ways to Help
At CEA Homeless Ministries (Compassion Embraces Addicts, Inc.), we believe real change happens through community. What began with simple acts of kindness has grown into a mission to provide safe housing with compassion—because everyone is somebody’s someone.

There are many ways to be part of this work, and each one matters.

Give Financially

Financial support helps move this mission from vision to reality. Every donation contributes to creating safe, stable housing and meeting the basic needs of those we serve. It allows us to build something lasting—something that offers not just help for today, but hope for tomorrow.
Partner in Housing
As this ministry grows, so does the need for housing. We are actively seeking connections with property owners, landlords, and individuals who are open to being part of a solution that provides stability and dignity. A single property, a conversation, or even a connection can open the door for someone to begin again.
Serve as a Board Member

We are in a foundational season and are building a board of individuals who want to help guide and grow this mission. This is an opportunity to be part of something meaningful from the ground up—offering your experience, your insight, and your heart to help create lasting impact in the lives of others.

Connect Us to Resources
Sometimes the most powerful way to help is through connection. Introducing us to grant opportunities, community leaders, organizations, or individuals who have a heart for this mission can create doors we could not open alone.

Share the Message

Awareness changes perspective. When people begin to understand that addiction affects all walks of life, it shifts how they see and respond. Sharing this mission—whether through conversation or social media—helps others recognize that those we serve are not defined by their circumstances.
They are somebody’s someone.
Encourage and Support

This work is deeply personal and often challenging. Encouragement, prayer, and support provide strength in ways that cannot always be measured but are always felt.

Be Part of the Story

Every person we serve is more than their circumstances. They are loved, they are valued, and they deserve the opportunity to begin again.
And with your help, they can.

Our Story
There was a time when this ministry was simple.
It began with blessing bags—small acts of kindness filled with essentials, handed out with the hope of meeting an immediate need—a meal, a toothbrush, a moment of care.
Over time, however, something deeper became clear. While a bag can help someone get through the day, it does not change where they sleep at night.
The Heart Behind It All
This ministry is deeply personal. It is rooted in love, shaped by loss, and driven by a desire to see others given a chance that so many need but never receive.
At the center of everything we do is one simple truth:
We provide safe housing with compassion—because everyone is somebody’s someone.
